The Last Day of Kindergarten

We started our day with centers...the Peeps love playing together. What better way to end the school year?

172 days of learning fun together!

We took down our roll of paper with the numbered days of school. The children wanted to see how long it was. Look at how far it goes down the hall! WOW!

 

Several friends asked for 10 frames and stickers, so that they could make their own projects--or create countdown pages for summer events they're excited about! These children are so clever!

At 10:00, it was time to visit the Bubble Bus! Kindergarten and First Grade were scheduled to be outside together, but we were the first class out there...and we got the bus all to ourselves for almost five minutes! That was awesome!

 

 

   

Here we are, waiting in the hallway at 11:25, to cheer for the 5th graders as they make their way down the halls for the last time. This was so sweet!! As the 5th graders walked by, the Peeps gave them high-fives, cheered for them, and jumped into the hall to hug their bus buddies. Long Elementary School may be big, but we definitely are a family!
