These last days of Kindergarten are going to zip right by...we're going to enjoy each and every one! This is such a special time of year! We're going to be very busy working on our end-of-the-year time capsules, enjoying fun days like Field Day, and continuing to practice our academic skills. As much as possible, please try to maintain your regular school schedule. The children need to be well-rested for the next two weeks of school.
Monday: C Day (P.E.)
Tuesday: D Day (P.E.) "Fly Over Day" for students who will be attending Sappington next year. These children will leave Long at 9:00, and travel by bus to Sappington to have an orientation there. They will return by 10:30. The friends who are staying at Long next year will remain in the classroom with me.
Wednesday: E Day (Try not to forget library books.)
Thursday: A Day (Art)
Friday: FIELD DAY (No-Letter Day) **Plan to have your child wear his/her Peep shirt for Field Day. Our team color is yellow, and our shirts will really help us be easily seen during field day events.
