Coming in the door was exciting on the 100th Day of Kindergarten!
Just look at these AMAZING 100 Day shirts! Families, you did a phenomenal job with these! The Peeps were so proud to show them off. They looked fabulous! I've never had a class where EVERYONE made a 100 Day shirt before--thank you so much for your help with this project! WOW!
Look at these good looking Peeps on their 100th Day of kindergarten!
We read a book called The Wolf's Chicken Stew, about a wolf who tried to fatten up a chicken by making her 100 pancakes, 100 donuts, and a 100-pound cake. When he went to her house to catch her to cook her in a stew, he discovered that he'd been feeding her huge family of baby chicks! They thanked him and hugged him, and he decided to make them 100 cookies. After the story, I made 100 pancakes (or more) for the Peeps to eat while they decorated their 100 Day crowns!
Then after recess, we made Fruit Loop necklaces using 100 Fruit Loops! We counted them out in groups of 10. As we were working, Zero the Hero came to visit us!
During our Math Workshop time, we worked on puzzles. Some of them had 100 pieces!
We had a wonderful 100 Day! It's been so much fun spending 100 days learning together!
