Scenes Around the Room This Week

In the School Center, the children can re-read the books that we've been enjoying together!

Construction Center has been crowded, but LOTS of fun!

During Social Studies lessons, we're working on our School Rules book. The Peeps are practicing using the tools in their toolbox to color, cut, and glue items on each page!

Look at these scissor positions! It can be tricky to remember how to hold scissors, but we are doing it!

In our math booklets for learning about number 1, there was cutting, too! Academic concepts are fairly simple at this point in Kindergarten. We're focusing on managing our materials, using tools correctly, and following directions. I'm so proud of our hardworking Peeps!

We LOVE our watercolors! Today we had the best time painting during our rest and recharge time. The boys and girls didn't even realize that painting helps us practice important handwriting skills. They painted beautiful pictures! (Look for those in binders on Monday.)
