These green signs all have the same picture. So we really have to look and think to be able to read what they say. We did it! We know where everything is in the front hallway now!
(At this point in our reading development, it's perfectly fine if children say "bathroom" when they are reading the "restroom" sign. The important thing is that they get the meaning right. As we learn more about how letters and sounds work, we'll figure out that it can't be "bathroom" because there's no /b/.")
