The firefighters showed us how quickly they can get into their gear--in less than 2 minutes! Their gear is VERY heavy, too! After this firefighter was all suited up, the boys and girls high-fived him. We know that even though he might sound like Darth Vader with his oxygen mask on, he's not a scary guy. In a fire, we should never hide from firefighters.
Next, we each got to sit in the driver's seat of the fire truck!
Then we were so excited to have a chance to squirt the fire hose!
